Sometimes the best TV theme tunes are ones you don't necessarily sing along to...but some are. Anyways here are my favourite theme tunes in no particular order.
Lost Girl
The opening credits feature a voiceover from Bo explaining her predicament...on top of the solo guitar segment from the theme song. Every time the credits roll I boogie to it. The whole theme song has a different tone to the segment used in the credits but it's still cool.

Switch - Lions in Cages by Wolf Gang
Even though the show got cancelled I'm always uplifted by this song and remember the awesomeness that was Switch. What set this show apart from others was it's tone. There were no rules with the girls' magic and they had to learn lessons for themselves. It was great fun, just like this song.

Sleepy Hollow
This theme is so Gothic like the show and right now when I don't have access to the remaining episodes of series 1 I haven't seen, I find comfort in playing the theme in my head.

The theme to Angel is a little more solemn and sad compared to its parent show Buffy. However this is because it is echoing the curse that Angel has and his battle with other monsters and himself.

X-Men Animated Series
After the first movie, this is what got me into X-Men. If it didn't have a good theme then I might not have been impressed and switched off. If it wasn't for watching an episode of this on Fox Kids then I wouldn't have caught Sailor Moon after it (wow this really changed my life).

Whenever this theme comes on I feel full of the joys of spring. It is so jovial and fun.

My Grandma loves this show and I enjoy watching it with her moreso thanks to the theme tune. I like that even though it's produced in Canada it still has that English feel about it that comes across even in the theme.

This is so different from it's parent English show and it took me a while to get used to it but I like the theme because it has that different feel.

I like the Who song that they used but when they remixed it, it was even better and I looked forward to watching CSI: NY because of it.

Ever such a short theme for a short lived TV series, it grounds its audience on the fact this is a sci-fi TV series despite the fact it doesn't always feel like it when you watch it.
